Medical Technician - Immediate Demand

Location: Bradenton, FL
Position Type: Full-Time

Shift- Full-time Nights and Evening  (rotating weekends)
Compensation-$22.39 - $31.34/ Hour

This role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stat and routine laboratory testing in areas such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology under supervision
• Follow established procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Apply laboratory knowledge and independent judgment to deliver timely and accurate results
• Maintain required licensure, certifications, and competency in assigned lab sections
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed
• Support departmental goals related to quality, patient safety, compliance, and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• National certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP preferred)
• Florida State Licensure as a Medical Technologist required (minimum 3 lab areas; all areas preferred)
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of hospital laboratory experience preferred
• Blood Bank experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working independently and covering multiple lab areas
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
