Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician (MD or DO) to join our Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty. This is an ideal opportunity for physicians passionate about teaching, mentorship, and community-based care, combining clinical practice with resident education in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Teaching/Preceptorship: ~70%
Clinical Practice: ~30% outpatient continuity clinic
Hospital/back-up rotation: 1-2 weeks every 6-8 weeks (Family Medicine inpatient service, including peds/newborn)
Daily outpatient volume: 20-25 patients

Balanced academic and clinical role with meaningful resident interaction

Access to hospital specialties: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
BC/BE Family Medicine (MD or DO)
Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
Comfortable with joint injections, dermatologic procedures, OMT
Interest in medical education and mentoring residents
Obstetrics experience welcomed but not required
Passion for rural and community-based medicine
