Primary Care Physician

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for Primary Care Physicians for outpatient care in Morristown, NJ. This is a full-time position with salary and benefits.

Details:

• Flexible Schedule (36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours)
• Outpatient setting: diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Some on-call and rotating Saturday shifts required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
• Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Manage acute illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe and administer medications, perform vaccinations
• Request necessary tests, follow-up visits, and specialist referrals
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and coding (E/M, HCC)
• Manage approximately 20-25 patients per day
• Provide leadership to clinical and reception staff
• Complete chart sign-offs and adhere to company policies

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (within 5 years)
• NJ license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA, BLS, and CSR/CDS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Clean malpractice record
• Familiarity with Athena EMR preferred
