Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and focuses on children in Pre-K through 2nd grade, serving a caseload of 50-60 students. Make a significant difference during these vital years by addressing a range of speech and language challenges in a supportive school-based setting.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA CCC-SLP credentials welcomed, as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with early elementary and preschool-aged children
- Skills in assessment, therapy planning, and delivery within a school environment
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities to work with staff, parents, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for Pre-K through 2nd grade students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions supporting communication progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records to comply with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultations and resources to families, supporting communication development beyond the classroom
