Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time role (15 hours per week) focuses on providing physical therapy services to PreK students during the extended school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Previous experience supporting students with special needs (SPED) is preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with students and families
  • Passion for working with preschool-aged children and supporting their developmental milestones
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to PreK students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assess and document student progress, providing clear, actionable updates to the multidisciplinary team
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other service providers for cohesive support
  • Adapt interventions for students with various physical and developmental needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, goal-setting, and progress reviews
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain compliance with local and federal regulations
