Join a regional hospital in Sanford, FL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a full-service cardiovascular program. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures and operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.
\nMinimum Qualifications
\n- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or RCIS certification.
- Must have 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- State specific licensing when required for technologists in Florida.
- Experience with Cath/EP lab equipment including GE fluoroscopy, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, AngioJet, and Penumbra preferred.
- Experience documenting in Mac Lab and MediTech preferred.
- Willingness to float to holding, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice as needed.
- Ability to scrub, circulate, or monitor in EP procedures; must be competent in at least two advanced EP skills when performing circulating or scrubbing roles.
Preferred Qualifications
\n- RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred if not ARRT certified.
- Experience with advanced procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripheral interventions, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump.
- Prior experience working in units with 1:1 and 2:1 patient ratios.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift hours: 07:00–16:30.
- Scheduling model includes 4×10 or 5×8 hour day options with late-stay on-call rotation.
- May float to holding area or EP lab within scope of practice.
