Position Overview
As a key clinical partner, you will work directly with orthopedic and spine surgeons across both surgical and outpatient settings, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist orthopedic surgeons in surgical procedures and clinical evaluations
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide clinical decisions
Provide detailed patient education on post-operative care and rehabilitation
Manage follow-ups and monitor recovery progression
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
Engage in continuous professional development and training
Qualifications
Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active New York State PA license and NCCPA certification
Minimum 2 years orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
Strong clinical judgment and procedural proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
