What You Will DoLead and support Front of House team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee service in the Anderson Dining Room, The Restaurant, and Dietary Aide staff when serving as Culinary Services Manager on Duty
Train new team members, including use of the Cubigo system and resident point system
Conduct audits and provide coaching to maintain service excellence
Ensure all dining areas meet sanitation and infection control standards
Maintain strong visibility in dining areas to build positive rapport with residents and staff
Create a safe and respectful environment that protects residents’ health, wellbeing, and rights
Complete daily closing paperwork and ensure all operational checklists are followed
Address resident concerns promptly, professionally, and accurately
Participate in required in-service education and Relias training
Adhere to Kendal at Lexington’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
- At least two years of experience as a shift leader or supervisor in culinary, dining, or food services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Friendly, positive attitude with strong leadership skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
