Job Description
Overview
From the high school athlete who tears an ACL to the retiree who needs a knee replacement, the Ortho Central Ambulatory Surgery Center is here for each and every one of our patients. Our expert team includes four orthopedic surgeons, a sports medicine physician, bone health experts, physical therapists, and workers’ compensation specialists.
Our skilled providers can treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries including sports-related fractures, foot and ankle surgery, and hip, knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery. The Ambulatory Surgery Center is open Monday through Friday to meet our patient’s needs
Responsibilities
- Works with all health care professionals in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities concerning all surgical and non-surgical procedures including but not limited to casting, splinting, DME fitting and custom DME application at the direction of the Orthopedic physician.
- May also be responsible for dressing changes and surgical staple/suture removal
- Brace and DME fitting
- Casting, splinting and immobilization- UE and LE
- Billing functions
- Other clinic duties and responsibilities

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
Experience
- DME/Casting experience preferred
- At least ONE year of medical experience required
- Casting, Bracing, DME Experience Preferred
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Compensation/Benefits
- $16.72-$27.30/hr depending on previous work experience.
