Fabrication Shop Helper

A manufacturing facility in the Northwest Houston area is seeking a dependable Shop Helper to support daily production and shop operations. This role is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist production staff with daily shop tasks
• Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and finished products within the shop
• Perform basic measurements using a tape measure to ensure job accuracy
• Use common hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and wire cutters
• Assist with basic power tool operation including drills and saws (preferred)
• Follow shop safety procedures, work instructions, and supervisor direction

Requirements:

• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately is required
• Steel-toe boots required
• Basic knowledge of hand tools required; power tool experience preferred
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a shop environment
