Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients in a home or facility setting.
- Design and implement engaging activities tailored to clients' interests and abilities.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and promote a positive atmosphere.
- Document care and activities accurately to ensure continuity and quality of service.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to optimize client care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
- Experience in caregiving or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to engage clients in activities and foster a positive environment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.
