- The Lab Pathologist Assistant provides anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a Pathologist. Assists in the preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection. Assists in the preparation and performance of human postmortem examination with subsequent dissection, submission of samples, and dictation of gross findings. \t\t
\t\t - Job Responsibilities:\t\t

- Preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens. \t\t\t
- Assisting with frozen section evaluation. \t\t\t
- Performing gross examination, selection of tissue \t\t\t
- Cryotomy of specimen and subsequent staining for intraoperative evaluation by a Pathologist. \t\t\t
- Preparation and performance of human postmortem examinations. \t\t\t
- Preparation, gross description and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens. \t\t\t
- Assisting with frozen section evaluation; performing gross examination \t\t\t
- Selection of tissue, cryotomy of specimen and subsequent staining for intraoperative evaluation by a Pathologist. \t\t\t
