Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of recent pediatric ICU experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details\n

• Work in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) of a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital
\n
• 13-week assignment
\n
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
\n
• Weekend shifts required as needed, with weekend block schedules considered
\n
• May float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (TN state or compact) with NLC compliance, no pending licensure accepted
\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience required, 3+ years preferred
\n
• BSN preferred
\n
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required, first-time travelers not accepted unless 3+ years of recent experience
\n
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
\n
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
\n
• Vaccination status documentation required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
\n
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
\n
• Holiday coverage required: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must work 2 of the 3; if only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, must work at least 1
\n
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront for consideration, as RTO requests made after an offer will not be honored
\n
• Former permanent staff or travelers at this facility must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
\n
