We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Staff Development (DSD) to join our skilled nursing facility in Glendora. This role is responsible for leading staff education, training programs, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staff education and training programs

• Oversee new hire orientation and ongoing staff development

• Ensure compliance with state and federal training regulations

• Conduct in-service trainings and competency assessments

• Maintain training records and ensure audit readiness

• Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives

• Partner with leadership to improve clinical outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in California

• DSD certification required

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
