We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Staff Development (DSD) to join our skilled nursing facility in Anaheim. This role is responsible for leading staff education, training programs, and ensuring ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement staff education and training programs

• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires

• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility training requirements

• Conduct in-service training and competency evaluations

• Maintain accurate training records and documentation

• Support infection control and quality assurance initiatives

• Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical performance and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in the state of California

• DSD (Director of Staff Development) certification required

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)

• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and training requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
