PAS Billing Clerk

PAS Biller – Home Health & Community Services

We are seeking a detail‑oriented PAS Billing Clerk to support our Personal Assistance Services program. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely billing and compliance for non‑skilled home‑ and community‑based services.

Position Overview

The PAS Biller is responsible for reviewing documentation, verifying service delivery, and submitting clean claims to payers. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and familiar with medical billing terminology. Candidates pursuing a billing or coding certification are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare and submit billing for PAS, Home Health, and/or community-based services
•             Verify service hours, authorizations, and documentation for accuracy
•             Ensure claims meet payer and regulatory requirements
•             Follow up on denials, corrections, and resubmissions
•             Maintain accurate records and communicate with internal teams
•             Support compliance with state and federal billing guidelines

Qualifications

• 
  Knowledge of medical billing and coding terminology
•             Experience with PAS, Home Health, or Medicaid billing preferred
•             Strong organizational and analytical skills
•             Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•             Interest in or pursuit of a billing/coding certification
