ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a LINEN PORTER to join our LAUNDRY team!

Salary Range: $18.02 - $23.35 Hourly
Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
FTE: FULL TIME, 1.00 FTE

Responsible for transporting either soiled or clean linen to designated areas. Responsible for recording work being done, keeping work area clean and tidy and have safe work methods.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of work methods and equipment, safety precautions and safe work methods; must be able to work well with other employees and organize work responsibilities efficiently; must be able to use simple measuring devices, understand and interpret oral and written instructions, keep basic records, keep a neat and clean appearance.

• READING - Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• WRITING - Basic: Ability to write simple correspondence.
• SPEAKING - Basic: Ability to speak simple sentences.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• REASONING ABILITY - Basic Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.
