Description
The Production Assistant works with Account Executives, producers and teams to plan and execute live events. This role oversees scheduling, logistics, and on-site operations while maintaining strong client relationships with clients and vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist Sales Staff to Manage and Facilitate Events and Jobs.
Logistics & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain production timelines in coordination with Production and Warehouse Teams.
- Book labor, schedule crews, and coordinate internal equipment transfers.
- Arrange deliveries, pickups, and vendor logistics.
On-Site Operations
- Lead day-to-day activities during event “Set” and “Strike.”
- Oversee staging, production equipment, and safe execution of all production elements.
Client Relations & Business Support
- Manage active orders and quotes.
- Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
- Identify additional solutions to enhance the client experience.
- Utilize quoting and inventory management systems for timely client responses.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in theater, film, arts management, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 1+ year event planning
- 1+ year event management
- 1–3+ years live entertainment or production experience preferred
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of staging and live event production.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with creative teams, technical crews, and authorities.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible schedule; ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed
Work Environment
This role includes a mix of office work, warehouse coordination, and on-site event management. The pace is fast and deadline-driven, with frequent transitions between planning and hands-on production work. Travel—local and regional—is common based on event schedules.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Weekends as required by event schedules
