JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources and takes a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. The position provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.

This position requires providing services to one or more age population including adolescent through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Illini Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Illini Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

PREFERRED:

• BSN

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• Possesses a current state RN license.
