JOB DESCRIPTION: Personal Bank/Teller

REPORTS TO: Head Teller/Service Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Accepts deposits, maintains cash drawer, cashes checks, and handles account maintenance requests. Requires the ability to handle money and be familiar with bookkeeping transactions. Cross sells bank products and services as a part of delivering exceptional customer service.

DUTIES

• Balance cash drawer daily and meets teller balancing standards.
• Assists in opening bank accounts such as Certificates of Deposit, IRAs, checking, savings, and debit cards.

• Mail statements & assist customers in signing up for Estatements
• Maintain Safe Deposit Boxes
• Roll coin
• Service ATM machines
• Cross sells bank products
• Maintains a clean workstation, an adequate level of supplies, and a professional attitude.
• Assist Customers with Digital Banking enrollment and troubleshooting.

OTHER DUTIES

• Answer the phone in a proactive and courteous manner.
• Opens and/or closes the bank and/or drive-up facilities as needed.
• Refers customers to customer service representatives and lenders as needed.
• Works hard to present the customer in a pleasant and professional manner.

RELATIONSHIPS

• Will have extensive contact with customers and the public, and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the bank.
