As Privia Laboratory�s Phlebotomy Trainer you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others. This position is 75% travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Privia Laboratory offers you a chance to make a real difference.
Phlebotomy Trainer Essential Job Functions:
- Supervising a team of physician office phlebotomists within the Dallas Metroplex area.
- Traveling to each clinic to observe laboratory processes.
- Creating schedules and reviewing employee hours of work.
- Managing accounts that are serviced and supported by the phlebotomy team.
- Assisting with inventory control
- Assisting with LIS concerns
- Assisting with any issues that arise for the team or company operations.
- Hiring, training, and developing phlebotomists
- Step in to provide support and coverage for the phlebotomy team as needed.
Phlebotomy Trainer Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 4 years� experience or more managing a team of phlebotomists.
- Experience within office phlebotomy preferred.
- Ability to work within different software systems and programs.
Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Enjoy working with the public.
- Have a good, stable work history.
- Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures.
- Healthcare experience
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices.
- Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
- Training in ordering supplies, collection of specimens, and ordering tests.
- Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.

Pay: Starting Salary $23
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
- Location - Fort Worth
