Phlebotomy Trainer Location: North Richland Hills, TX

As Privia Laboratory�s Phlebotomy Trainer you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others. This position is 75% travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Phlebotomy Trainer Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervising a team of physician office phlebotomists within the Dallas Metroplex area.
  • Traveling to each clinic to observe laboratory processes.
  • Creating schedules and reviewing employee hours of work.
  • Managing accounts that are serviced and supported by the phlebotomy team.
  • Assisting with inventory control
  • Assisting with LIS concerns
  • Assisting with any issues that arise for the team or company operations.
  • Hiring, training, and developing phlebotomists
  • Step in to provide support and coverage for the phlebotomy team as needed.

Phlebotomy Trainer Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • 4 years� experience or more managing a team of phlebotomists.
  • Experience within office phlebotomy preferred.
  • Ability to work within different software systems and programs.

Experience:

  • Customer service experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Enjoy working with the public.
  • Have a good, stable work history.
  • Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures.
  • Healthcare experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices.
  • Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
  • Training in ordering supplies, collection of specimens, and ordering tests.
  • Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting Salary $23

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
