Easton Staff Climbing wall

POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares the facility for climbing and monitor the actions of rock climbers during climbing. Responsible for following all policies and procedures of the rock climbing facility while assisting participants during climbing hours. Provides a quality experience to members that focuses on the YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Implements safety procedures and policies for the rock wall and climbers.
2. Belay for climbers coming in to learn techniques. 
3. Teach belay training classes and lessons.
4. Maintain a clean & safe environment for climbers. 
5. Attends and participates in staff meetings, and staff training.
