Nursing Supervisor RN

Family of Caring at Tenafly is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a 3–11 Nursing Supervisor. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading evening operations, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth clinical flow in a warm, family-oriented facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership for nursing staff during the 3–11 shift

• Serve as the primary clinical resource for nurses and CNAs on evenings

• Ensure high-quality resident care and adherence to care plans

• Address clinical concerns, staffing needs, and urgent issues as they arise

• Communicate effectively with on-call leadership and interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies

• Support survey readiness and proper documentation practices

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Jersey

• Prior experience as a Nursing Supervisor or charge nurse in a skilled nursing facility preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills

• Ability to manage evening operations independently and calmly

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
