MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - HVAC Repair - Pneumatics
Location: District-Wide
Duties: Repair and maintain all HVAC, steam and hydronics systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to service calls. Pneumatic background needed. Maintain truck inventory and department tools. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, Leads or designee.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience in HVAC, hydronics, and building maintenance repair or apprentice. Requires valid Class "D" Minnesota Driver's License. Ability to read, understand and follow architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and schematic drawings and blueprints. Ability to understand and observe oral and written instructions. Working knowledge of computers and computer programs used in the assigned area. Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. Motivated self-starter; well-organized and efficient; ability to work with minimum supervision and direction. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Ability to perform position responsibilities, including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Licensing: Pneumatic background or repair certifications, Universal Refrigerant License or Pipe Fitter License or Master Gas License, RPZ Backflow Certification, Boilers License, HVAC A.A.S. degree. Refer to SEIU Contract on AH website for more info.
