Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) Corrections PRN Nights

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a difference in the challenging environment of Corrections? Morse Correctional Healthcare at Okaloosa County Jail FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide quality healthcare services to our inmate population.

• Provide nursing care within the Corrections - County Jail setting, ensuring the health and well-being of all inmates.
• Assess and monitor inmate's medical conditions, administer medications, and assist in emergency medical situations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each inmate.
• Document all nursing interventions and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility policies.
• Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality of inmate information at all times.

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in a Corrections - County Jail or similar setting is preferred.
• BLS certification and strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
