General Purpose of Position:

Working with the sales personnel as part of a team, the Courtesy Clerk is responsible for assisting customers and general store maintenance and appearance. Responsibilities include customer service and duties as assigned by the store manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Load merchandise into customer’s vehicles.
• Stock shelves when merchandise arrives.
• Return misplaced items to proper location.
• Collect shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Sweep floors.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding location of merchandise and pricing.
• Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

• Available to work a part-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds.

• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to customers and associates.
• Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform job duties.
