About this job
The Mobile Examiner is responsible for completing work including a variety of insurance and healthcare products, which could include but
is not limited to: blood draws, urine collections, manual vital signs, medical history questionnaires, EKGs, specimen processing, and delivery of specimens to a lab or shipping facility.
The Examiner will be required to travel up to a 25 mile radius from their home to complete these exams, and may be asked to travel
further for outlying areas. In addition to the above, the Examiner is required to have a minimum of 100 in field successful venipunctures within the past 12 months.
Essential Functions:
Position requires face-to-face
interaction with applicants/patients to gather information including physical
measurements, blood draws, urine collections, EKGs and completing medical
history questionnaires.Travel to confirmed sites to include
personal homes or place of business to complete requested services.Collect, process and ship specimens via
FedEx/UPS courier or delivery to labsSecure storage of specimens, paperwork,
and other PII and PHI items for required time periodsRequires the use of EMSI provided IPad
to complete all electronic workflowsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Requirements:
Phlebotomy experience
Requires medical training to include
phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 100 blood draws within the last 12 months
(blood draws will be verified)May require state specific license: CA
and LA require licenseMedical terminology
Ability to perform manual vital signs
(blood pressure and radial pulse)Professional attitude and appearance
EKG Experience
Experience operating a Centrifuge
