Dietary Aide - Part Time

Description

Hazel Findlay is looking a Dietary Aide to join our Work Family. Experience preferred but not required. This position is: 

• Per Diem - up to 20 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays required

Some job duties include: 

1. 1. Serve meals to residents and guests in dining rooms
   2. Prepare menu items utilizing recipes, and production sheets. 
   3. Supervise meal service and ensure proper amounts of food are distributed.
   4. Obtain, monitor and record temperatures of hot and cold foods.
   5.  Prepare accurate meal trays for satellite dining areas.
   6. Record food usage.   
   7. Wash dishes, flatware, pots and pans, and utensils using approved methods.
   8. Assist in ordering stock; ensure all food is stored properly.    

Requirements

• ServSafe certification or obtain within 3 months of hire
• Six (6) months or more food preparation experience in fast-paced setting preferred. 
• Able to read, write, and spell in English and do basic math.
• Honest, dependable, pleasant, able to accept constructive criticism.
