Description
Vaughn Industries currently has an opening for a Safety Compliance Coordinator.
This position will assist the Safety Director in the implementation, management and evaluation of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) management system and provide technical and administrative support to Vaughn Industries operational, support and field Safety personnel. Developing SH&E action plans, policies, procedures, and training. Promote and communicate Vaughn Industries’ SH&E culture. Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are a driving focus on all assigned tasks/jobsites.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, databases, and tracking systems.
- Support incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
- Prepare and distribute safety communications and materials.
- Coordinate administrative aspects of safety programs and serve as a central support resource.
- Manage contractor qualification systems (Avetta, ISN, Veriforce, etc.) and ensure compliance with PPE/FR policies.
- Administer safety systems (UKG, Procore, Tyndale, 3E Online) and report required metrics.
- Create, assign, and track tailgate topics; ensure completion and accuracy.
- Assist with safety training, orientations, and OSHA-related requirements.
- Maintain JHAs, SDS inventory, inspection trackers, and safety documentation.
- Generate reports, including incident summaries and Procore data.
- Support jobsite compliance (postings, licenses, emergency info, safety boards).
- Coordinate emergency postings and liaise with external services as needed.
- Track and manage safety equipment, PPE, and supply inventory.
- Support safety leadership, client requests, and site safety planning.
- Maintain communication lists, calendars, and scheduling for safety activities.
- Manage safety incentive programs and contribute to process improvements.
- Perform additional SH&E duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in occupational health and safety related field
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
- OSHA 30 Hour and 510 preferred
- Expected to possess and maintain OSHA outreach trainer credentials
- General Industry, EHS, or Construction Industry experience preferred
- Safety knowledge and skill sets required
