This position is paid at $17.00/hour.

The schedule for this position is for an afternoon full time officer who is available between the timeframes of Sunday-Thursday, 1500-2300.

 

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets at assigned sites. This role requires alertness, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security issues. Floaters cover different posts and shifts as needed based on scheduling demands.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to facilities or restricted areas
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to ensure safety
• Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports
• Enforce site policies, rules, and procedures
• Assist with evacuations and emergencies when required
• Observe and report suspicious activity or potential hazards
• Use CCTV, radios, and alarm systems to maintain security
• Provide professional assistance to employees, guests, and clients
• Work closely with law enforcement, fire, or medical responders when necessary
