Position Summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is looking for Security Officers to cover a range of client locations as needed. This role involves working at different sites, depending on staffing requirements, and handling day-to-day security tasks to help keep each location safe.

This opportunity is well suited for individuals who can adjust to new environments, stay organized, and perform their duties with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at various locations based on assignment needs
• Perform foot or vehicle patrols to check property conditions
• Stay alert to surroundings and report unusual activity or concerns
• Follow site-specific procedures, including access control when required
• Respond to incidents or alarms in line with company guidelines
• Complete daily logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details
• Communicate updates with supervisors, dispatch, or site contacts
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule across different shifts and locations
• Reliable and able to work independently

 

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in security, patrol, or similar roles
• Familiarity with basic reporting and security procedures

 

Work Environment

• Assignments may vary between different client sites
• Mix of indoor and outdoor responsibilities depending on location
• May involve extended periods of standing, walking, or driving
• Work conditions and schedule may change based on coverage needs
