Production Trainer 1st Shift

Quanex is looking for a Production Trainer to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota.

The Production Trainer is responsible for providing job specific training for manufacturing positions as well as limited office roles. 

The hours for this role are Monday - Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm.

What Success Looks Like:

• Good analytical, management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and other training and presentation software programs or applications.
• An adequate understanding of the principles that are involved in a good training program.

What You Bring:

• 1-3 Years of proven work experience as a trainer OR any appropriate combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP Knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual in Spanish or Somali is preferred.

The hourly wage for this position is $25.00 per hour.
