Telecom Lineman

Description

We are currently seeking skilled and safety-minded Telecom Linemen to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and essential industry supporting fiber optic infrastructure.

Duties:

• Operate equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and removal of overhead and underground fiber optic lines

• Work at various heights using a bucket truck

• Perform fiber splicing, testing, and installation

• Monitor quality assurance to ensure installations meet customer specifications and industry standards

• Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in telecom line work or related construction

• Strong understanding of fiber optic systems preferred

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

• Willingness to travel within Central and Northwest Ohio

• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a lineman and have the knowledge to detect power space violations and safety issues
• Ability to work in all-weather environments and be willing to travel as needed
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Class A CDL is a PLUS!
