About this job
Description
- Welcome and assist CCAR visitors, including students, faculty, staff, and nonprofit partners, who assist CCAR in the development and implementation of student civic, service, and educational projects during the semester.
- Follow up with potential volunteers who are interested in developing or participating in student service events for monitoring and evaluation.
- Utilize data gathered through monitoring and evaluation to assist with overall Center outreach efforts.
- Monitor CCAR email and phone messages.
- Maintain CCAR files and folders in Microsoft Teams.
- Work with CCAR staff to support office operations.
- Attend weekly office meetings and take minutes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Support the Center for Community Action and Research in their work to connect the campus and the community for the benefit of both.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Canva preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and patient with faculty and students
- Office experience a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Interest in community service, civic engagement and/or voting is preferred but not required.
- Enrolled Pace Undergraduate student
- Work-study eligible preferred
- Ability to work on campus (commuters are welcome)
- Up to 10 hours per week in person
