For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Please note this bonus is not available for per-diem positions. Summary:
The Patient Service Specialist role ensures patient scheduling and referral needs are met while assisting in the general administrative and patient service needs of the practice.
This position is a call center-based role and requires handling a high volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will be comfortable managing phone-based communication as their primary mode of support
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
- Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
