Summer Community Engagement Specialist

Do you love playing outside and facilitating recreational activities? Are you looking for a summer job? If you want to find purpose through service to others, you’ve come to the right place. We’re looking for Summer Camp Day Staff to join our team in  Anchorage, Alaska.

Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge. 

As our Summer Camp Day Staff, you will implement  a wide variety of recreational, artistic expression, and skill building activities  to maximize support recipients’ physical, social, and cognitive skills. Every day we'll rely on you to teach activities of daily living and foster social independence. To thrive in this role, you should be passionate about helping people experiencing disabilities and comfortable with personal care. We'll teach you everything else you need to know.

Must be able to drive and feel comfortable transporting camp participants to activities.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours a week) and applicants must be willing to work this schedule from May 19th, 2026 to July 31st, 2026.
