We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers Level I for our Manufacturing Retrofit Team on the 1st Shift. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building and assembling of Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers.
Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Hourly Rate: $19.00

Basic Qualifications
Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub‑assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous basis without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with mechanical assembly or technical hands on work
You'll make a difference by:
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and safely operate standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery‑operated tools.
Learn the proper use of torque wrenches and how to apply specified torque values.
Learn to accurately use measuring tools, such as tape measures and other standard measuring devices.
Develop the ability to identify common mechanical parts and basic electrical components.
Assemble, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders, including mechanical assembly of steel components.
Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
