 Retail Furniture Assembler - Newark Ohio

For Licking/Knox Goodwill

Location: 245 Deo Dr. Newark Ohio 43055

Pay-12.00 Per Hr.

Hours: Approximately 15 per week very flexible

Schedule: Monday-Friday (2 or 3 shifts per week during store hours )

A successful applicant will….

• Have the ability to assemble furniture and related merchandise according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Work independently or part of a team
• Assist customers with product information when necessary 
• Assure assembled items are clean, safe, and sales floor ready
• Display and organize product on the sales floor
• Prepare and maintain reports as needed
• Keep a clean and organized work area as well as assist with some general cleaning

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test which includes THC
• Pass a background check
• Previous furniture assembly experience preferred 
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job. Be able to lift/carry up to 50 to 75 pounds and move large items safely
