FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

Qualifications

• The individual must have a strong work ethic and continuous drive to succeed
• VERIFIABLE driving experience (Mandatory 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years, not necessary to be driving all-day every day as long as some driving was part of the job)
• A valid regular driver's license (Class C)
• Legal status to work in the US
• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal record
• Able to pass physical (including drug test)
• Clear a 10-year DOT background check
• Must have conversational English
• Must be punctual, energetic, reliable and honest
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to lift up to 150 lbs with a hand-truck or cart

Responsibilities

• In your role as a FedEx driver, you would report to the FedEx Ground Terminal at 180 Daniel Belmonte Dr, Emporia, VA where you will load your truck and deliver and pick up packages on your assigned route
• Your responsibilities include: scanning, delivering/picking up packages, pre and post trip vehicle inspection daily, and superior customer service
