Sample Therapy Services Contract Therapist - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary

Sample Therapy Services is seeking licensed clinicians to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and access to a consistent referral base within a growing, community-based practice.

Clinicians will provide outpatient mental health and/or substance use services to a diverse population, including individuals with co-occurring disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities. This is a contractor-only role and does not include employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy
• Facilitate substance use treatment and/or DUI education (if applicable)
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Manage your own caseload and scheduling within agreed availability
• Collaborate with internal teams and referral partners as needed
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and Colorado regulatory requirements

Clinical Focus Areas (Based on Experience)

• Substance use and addiction treatment
• Trauma and PTSD
• Anxiety, depression, and mood disorders
• Couples and family therapy
• Court-mandated/DUI services

Qualifications

• Active Colorado license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAC, or equivalent)
• Experience in outpatient therapy and/or substance use treatment preferred
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Experience with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care) preferred
  
  

Compensation

• Fee-for-service (per session/service)
• Competitive rates based on licensure and experience
• No benefits (contractor role)

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling
• Ability to offer evening and/or weekend availability preferred

• In-person services at our Longmont office
• Telehealth options may be available
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong referral streams
