Driver will need to support daily shipping and logistics operations between the Whitmire plant and Winnsboro plant. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials and finished goods between company locations and local customers while assisting with loading, unloading, and warehouse support activities. Work hours are from 6:00 AM until 12:00 PM Monday – Thursday, occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on production or delivery needs. Driver will need to be able to operate vehicles, box trucks, forklift, hand trucks, materials up to 50 lbs., record delivery logs, and accurate mileage information. Key Responsibilities

Operate a company box truck to transport materials and finished goods to local destinations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate gas, mileage and maintenance or safety concerns with any vehicle responsible for during the course of the day.
Load and unload materials using a forklift or manual handling techniques.
Verify shipping documents, delivery receipts, and inventory counts for accuracy.
Follow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all traffic, local and state laws, in addition to company safety policies.
Assist warehouse staff with staging, organizing and moving materials as needed, including placing them in proper storage containers or designated areas.
Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
Communicate with manager or required department or other management regarding delivery status or issues.
Comply with all state and federal traffic laws and regulations.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred.
Able to trailer boats.
Forklift operation experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to follow directions and work independently and in a team setting.

Key Competencies

Proficient with MS Office, with a high focus on Excel.
Epicor or equivalent ERP system.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, pull or carry/move up to 50 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods.
Climb, crawl, push, pull, lift, rotate arms at various angles, reach overhead, reach at or below shoulder level, gross and fine manipulation, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, speaking, hearing, visually inspecting work, etc.
Able to climb in and out of boat on land, water, and while trailered.
Able to pass required visual, hearing and mobility required for safe operation of forklift, vehicle and warehouse operations.
Work in an environment with exposure to noise at levels not requiring ear protection, and dust, both indoors and outdoors.
Seasonal Temperatures may impact work environment.
