Pre-K Teacher

Solutions That Empower People, Inc. (STEP), a multifaceted community action agency, has an opening for a full time 10-month Pre-K Teacher in Franklin County, VA.  This position is responsible for planning and carrying out the educational program and the day-to-day operations of the classroom.  The qualifications for this position include an Associate’s Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education (prefer Bachelor’s Degree), three years’ experience working with pre-school age children, excellent written and oral communication skills, and basic computer skills.  Salary range for this position is $18.13 - $21.92 per hour.   Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, disability insurance, 401k, and PTO.
