Responsibilities:

• Provide peer support to individuals with behavioral challenges, focusing on emotional regulation, social skills, and adaptive behaviors
• Develop and implement individualized support plans, incorporating strategies from Positive Behavioral Supports and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Document progress and outcomes, using data to inform future interventions and adjust support plans as needed
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and expand your skill set

Requirements:

• Certificate in a relevant field (e.g., Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Therapy, Mental Health)

• 1 year of experience working with individuals with behavioral needs, preferably in a peer support or behavioral specialist role

• Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Supports and ABA techniques

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work part time and full time, with varying schedules and shifts
