Job Title: Lead Job Coach
Location: Bellevue & Auburn WA
Pay Rate: $23-$25
Schedule: M-F 9 AM to 5 PM
This position is responsible for the daily management, coordination and documentation of all Employment Specialists and the services provided to vocational services clients. The Vocational Lead will have a reduced caseload of clients assigned by the Program Manager. Keep the department of Vocational Services in compliance with agency philosophy, policies, and procedures, and in accordance with State licensing laws and regulations. This is done by maintaining up to date certifications and authorizations for clients, and Employment Specialists.
● Monitor staff compliance with 70% daily billable activity
● Report every Monday with the billable activity for the previous week.
● Review case notes weekly for county compliance and ensure staff are entering notes within 1 day of service for the client.
● Prompt ES if corrections are needed.
● Update new staff of schedule changes and delete appointments as necessary.
● Work with the Program Manager to determine the appropriate client assignments to staff, and create a new caseload
● Train new staff on Setworks.
● Assist the Program Manager in determining department hiring needs
● Assist in the interview process as needed
● Work with the Program Manager to complete new hire checklist
● Train new staff on filling out mileage sheets
● Create and send new hires their initial shadowing schedules. Coordinate job shadowing with Employment Specialist
● Provide training in the field with new hires.
● Cultivate personal relationship and meet with staff weekly to provide direction as needed
● Coordinate trainings, meetings, and reminders for staff
● Continual familiarity and monitoring of all IE and CI clients and their status in receiving services individualized for them
● Ensure that each client’s employment is safe, inclusive, and well supported by staff
● Responds to grievances/complaints from parents, families, caregivers, or employers
● Maintain grievance and incident report spreadsheet.
● Alert caregivers, clients, families, employers to changes in schedule/staffing/support
● Monitor staff trainings to ensure completion and updated certificate is in their HR file
● Understand scope of services and county contract/school to work/DVR procedures
● Ensure monthly reports are submitted to DVR counselors by 10th of each month
● Complete RSAS monthly report 2106_ecsrf
● Alert ES to upcoming training expirations, First Aid - CPR, Mandatory Reporting etc.
● Assist Program Manager with monthly reports for Director
● Ensure completion of 1 month, 2 month, and 3month training checklists for any new hires and give to HR for file
● Ensure Annual Plan Spreadsheet is up to date and all PCSP's, Annual Intakes, and semi-annual reports are always current.
● Alert ES Staff when plans and intakes are due each month and ensure they are completed and in the client file.
● Support Program Manager with monitoring of King and Snohomish County billing spreadsheets for accuracy
● Learn all aspects of employment services to include DVR and STW services
● Attend external trainings assigned by the Program Manager
● Work in the field with clients as needed
● Other duties as assigned

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass a Background Check.
Must have a vehicle with current auto insurance.
Must have an acceptable driving record per SAILS Washington policy.
