**** $10,000 Sign on bonus to external hires only ***** ??????? + DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room. + + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program. + Currently certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology or National Center for Competency Testing as a Surgical Technologist. + Experience, six months to one year preferred. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). + Basic computer skills. + Knowledge of principles of asepsis + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. + Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. + Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. + Ability to follow directions accurately. + Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
