Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Security Team Analyst to join our growing security operations team. This role requires a professional who can think critically, conduct structured reconnaissance, analyze complex information, and provide actionable intelligence to support operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, methodical, and capable of identifying patterns, vulnerabilities, and risk indicators before they become threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive reconnaissance and intelligence gathering to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and exposure points.
- Analyze internal and external data sources to detect anomalies, trends, and security threats.
- Develop risk assessments and provide written analytical reports with clear recommendations.
- Monitor digital environments, systems, and operational landscapes for emerging threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate identified risks.
- Support incident investigations by gathering and analyzing relevant intelligence.
- Maintain documentation of findings, methodologies, and mitigation steps.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recon and analysis procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights.
- Experience conducting reconnaissance, research, or intelligence gathering.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and indicators of risk.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion and high ethical standards when handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with research tools, databases, and analytical software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in security operations, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, law enforcement, or military intelligence.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
- Certifications such as:
- Security+
- Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
