Overview: Print Technician:

We are seeking a highly skilled Printer Technician to join our technical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities: Print Technician:

Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble printing hardware components.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose mechanical or electronic faults.
Conduct equipment repairs in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and safety standards.
Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new printing equipment in diverse environments.
Maintain detailed service records, including repair logs and parts used, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve computer networking issues affecting printer connectivity.
Provide training and technical support to end-users on printer operation and troubleshooting procedures.
Stay current with industry advancements in printing technology and OEM updates to enhance service quality.

Requirements: Print Technician:

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in printer repair or related field service roles.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking protocols, and IT systems relevant to printing environments.
Proficiency in software troubleshooting related to printer drivers, firmware updates, and network configurations.
Familiarity with schematics, mechanical components, and the use of hand tools for equipment repair.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, OEM guidelines, and electronic schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members across diverse settings.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols is highly desirable.
