Location: Abilene / Weatherford Office (some local and remote travel required)

Position Overview

Jacob & Martin, LLC is seeking a Resident Project Representative (RPR) to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a talented and motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about contributing to impactful projects in both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily construction reports and record project information using Fieldwire.
• Review payment requisitions, wage rates, and operations manuals.
• Review and interpret plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards and report findings accurately.
• Prepare and submit clear documentation and photo evidence via Fieldwire.
• Communicate effectively with the project manager, engineering technicians, owners, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding site conditions, project requirements, and inspection results.

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with management and project teams.
• Experience in record-keeping for construction projects.
• Experience conducting construction inspections and preparing reports.
• Familiarity with payment requisitions, wage rates, and operations manuals.

Technical Proficiencies

• Fieldwire
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular physical activity, including long periods of standing, walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items. Work may require agility and dexterity typical of field inspection activities.

Work Environment

The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Moderate risks or discomforts may be present, such as exposure to moving parts, equipment, or irritant materials. Appropriate safety precautions and protective gear (e.g., hard hats, boots, gloves, masks) are required as needed.
