Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment in a high-acuity hospital setting. This role requires performing CT and x-ray procedures for adult and pediatric patients, supporting trauma and stroke care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT certification RT(R)(CT) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with CT and fixed or mobile x-ray equipment (Siemens, GE, Canon/RadPRO portables preferred).
• Experience working in high-acuity, Level 1 trauma or acute care hospital settings preferred.
• Ability to perform adult and pediatric imaging.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an academic medical center or teaching hospital preferred.
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy setup preferred; training can be provided.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule includes 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–11:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Additional shift pattern noted: 2:30 p.m.–1:00 a.m. Monday–Thursday or 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; schedule cycles on a 4-week rotation.
• Holiday expectation: travelers will work 75% of holidays.
• Orientation: up to 5 days departmental orientation, dependent on experience.
• Floating: role floats within the CT department to support the Emergency Department.
• Department handles adult and pediatric patients and supports trauma and stroke cases.

Impacting Patient Care

You will support high-acuity care in a hospital with Level 1 trauma designation and comprehensive stroke and chest pain programs. Provide diagnostic imaging that directly affects emergent and inpatient treatment decisions. Work within a department staffed with senior leadership and pediatric and adult imaging teams. Utilize department equipment including CT units and portable x-ray systems to deliver timely imaging services.
