Location: Dallas, TX

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support OTR operations based in Dallas, TX. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Schedule: 70 hours per week, 2 weeks out, 3 days home time
• Pay: $0.62 per mile, increasing based on experience
• Per diem: $35 per night
• Tarp pay: $50 per tarp
• Detention and breakdown pay: $25 per hour after the first hour and a half

Job Details

• Route Type: OTR to Midwest
• Freight / Load Type: Roofing and construction materials
• Equipment: New Mack Anthem, Flatbed trailer, Automatic transmissions
• Handling: Tarping and strapping

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on OTR routes
• Transport roofing and construction materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including tarping and strapping
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role

Minimum Requirements

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience (recent graduates accepted)
• Endorsements: None required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
